Rules: Podium War

How the ranking works

• The minimum amount is the current minimum price shown in the form. Above that, you choose your amount freely. Entries already listed keep their value until they are exceeded. If you exceed an entry, it moves down exactly one place and you take exactly that place.
• Taking rank 1 costs more than the current top price. This markup, the leader protection, rises in steps with the amount (table below). If your amount lies between the top price and this threshold, you land on rank 2 at the top price and pay only that.
• At an equal amount, the older entry stays ahead.
• Want to move further up? Use the personal link from your confirmation email (valid for 30 days, renewed with every top-up) and pay only the difference, at least €1.00. The share of your previous guarantee already used is credited as a euro amount against the new, higher guarantee. Without the link you buy a completely new entry instead, and your existing entry stays active alongside it.
• Your payment also secures a minimum duration on the podium (rank 1 to 3), depending on the amount paid, at most 720 hours (30 days). You see the exact duration and the click target of your price tier in the form before payment. As long as the guarantee is running, you can exit early at any time via your personal link and get the unused share back, for example if someone displaces you from the podium. If you don't, your entry stays active and visible.
• The share used consists of two parts: time share (billable hours ÷ guaranteed hours of your price tier) plus click share (see below), together at most 100%. Unused share = amount paid × (1 − share used). This share is paid out minus 10%, at most minus €2.00. If you already received a refund for the same entry in the last 48 hours, there is no deduction. Below €1.00 there is no refund. The guarantee ends in any case after at most 720 billable hours (30 days). You can see your current status at any time via your personal link.
• In addition to the time share, the click share counts: clicks since the start ÷ click target of your price tier. Clicks measure how much visibility has already reached you. There is no claim to a particular number of clicks. Repeated clicks from the same IP address within 10 minutes count once.
• The first 30 minutes after your entry starts are not billable (grace period), so your time share stays at zero during that time. If clicks already come in during this time, the grace period shortens accordingly, down to zero once a small, price-dependent number of clicks is reached.
• If an entry outside the podium is removed through value decay without having received a single click during its entire time on the board, you automatically get a pro-rata refund: amount paid × (remaining time in the window below the podium ÷ length of this window). The window starts with the payment and is twice as long as the guaranteed hours of your price tier, at most 60 days. Deduction and minimum as above. With at least one click, removal through value decay carries no refund.
• As long as your entry is on the podium (rank 1 to 3), its value stays unchanged. If it drops to rank 4 or lower, a 7-day countdown starts. If its value is below 5% of the current top price, the countdown shortens to 2 days. If the countdown runs out without the entry returning to the podium, it automatically loses value and the countdown starts again.
• The loss per expired countdown depends on the current value: 20% below €1, 10% below €10, 5% below €1,000, 1% from €1,000. If the value falls below €0.50, the entry is removed. If it never received a single click during its entire time on the board, you automatically get a pro-rata refund (see below), otherwise not. After a top-up, the countdown starts again for the new, higher amount.

Leader protection

This is how much more than the current top price you need to take rank 1. Example: if the top price falls in the row "From X €", you need at least X € plus the markup next to it for rank 1. Any lower amount can still be chosen freely and is placed behind automatically.

Who this suits

These rules keep the ranking current and give newcomers access to the podium too, instead of one early payment blocking a place permanently.

• Good fit: anyone offering something lasting, such as a permanent website, a profile or a recurring service, for example local service providers, trades, freelancer profiles or event pages that currently get too little attention.
• Less of a fit: anyone who wants to stay at the top permanently with a single payment without ever topping up. Without a podium place, the value decreases automatically (see "Value decay").

What you're allowed to list

• Any website or profile that doesn't violate applicable law or these rules.
• Not allowed: chat and invite links, such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger or Signal. The board is meant for products and profiles, not group chats.
• Not allowed: links to sexual content, pornography or adult platforms.
• Not allowed: link shorteners and offers relating to illegal substances, weapons or anything else that breaks applicable law. An automatic filter blocks obvious cases before payment. If a breach is established after review, we remove the entry without a refund and tell you the reasons (clause 9 of the terms).

After payment

• Your entry is publicly visible. Clicks lead to the URL you provided.
• A successfully processed payment secures your place. Refunds apply in these cases: pro rata, if you exit early via your personal link while the guarantee is running; automatically and in full, if the required amount changed between starting and completing payment; automatically pro rata, if an entry is removed through value decay without a single click. Value decay itself carries no refund. As a consumer you also have a statutory right to cancel (see the cancellation information).
• The terms, the cancellation information and the privacy policy in the version valid at the time of payment apply. Use from age 18.

Decisions that only ever favor you

Every change on this list makes the formulas more generous, never less — none of them can ever reduce what you're entitled to.

• Refund processing fee capped at €2.00 flat, however large the refund — not a percentage that keeps growing with the amount.
• Minimum payout lowered to €1.00. Smaller claims that used to be too small to pay out now go through.
• No second fee within 48 hours: if you already paid the processing fee on a refund for the same entry recently, the next one is free.
• Clicks can reduce your refund by at most 60%, however many clicks your entry gets. The rest only shrinks with actual elapsed time, never with clicks alone.
• A click on your link always goes through, even if our bot check flags the request: we just skip counting that one click, we never block the visitor.
• The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal stays available on top of the instant self-service refund — no fee, no click deduction, and it usually pays out more.
• Zero-click guarantee: if your entry is ever removed by value decay without a single click in its entire lifetime, you get a pro-rata refund automatically, no claim needed.
